Maasin City is the capital of Southern Leyte, one of the provinces in Leyte Island.
How to get there:
From Cebu, Maasin City can be reached in about 4-6 hours of boat or boat+land travel. One can take a boat directly to Maasin, or to Bato or Hilongos, about 45 minutes or an hour from Maasin via bus or van.
One can also travel by air to Tacloban City, which is about 4 hours from Maasin via bus or van.
